I'll enter it into the challenge at

In a Cozzee mood...

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Monday, May 31, 2010 1 stamps of approval
I made a few more Coffee Cozzees today, after I got the groove going in Bradley's Thomas one last night.

Here's what I made,

This one is for Mom, she found this fabric and wanted a cozzee made out of it, so, here ya go Mom!
This one is for Hubby - he told me he wanted one with a stripe in the middle.. hope he likes it!
And, one for me :)  I found this cool Alice in Wonderland fabric and just had to buy it!
Hope you like them!

Do you have a little one at home who loves Thomas?  I've got an extra Thomas Cozzee to give away!  Just leave me a comment on my Thomas Post for a chance to win one!

A New Coffee Cozzee! (AND BLOG CANDY!)

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Monday, May 31, 2010 8 stamps of approval
I've made Coffee Cozzee's for my Hubby, my Mom, my Dad, my Brother, my Sister-in-law, myself, my friends, and even my daughter (who loves Strawberry Frappucinos) but I haven't made one yet for my little guy!  He's only 2 years old, but he also loves Strawberry Frappucinos, so I needed to make him a cozzee too!

He loves it and can't wait to go get a drink to put it on!

Edited -- BLOG CANDY!!
Do you have a kiddo that loves Thomas and Frappucinos??  Really these will work with ANY beverage, McDonalds Shakes, Sonic Limeaids... etc... anywhoo..  - Leave me a comment telling me more about your little Thomas fan and I'll draw a random winner (or 2) and make a cozzee just for them and mail it out to you!  :O)

Our wonderful sponsor this week is...
...and they are offering our random winner £10 to spend in their shop!  Thanks, Secret Crafter!!

With Father's Day coming up, this should be pretty easy.. well.. you'd think, wouldn't you?
I really struggled with this one!

I don't think I'm going to give this card to my Dad, or to my Husband, it's just not quite "them" if you know what I mean.  I do like how it turned out.. but I'll have to keep working on the perfect card for 2 perfect Dads!

So, here it is!

Meljen's Designs - Challenge #9

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 4 stamps of approval
Hi!

I hope you can join us at Meljen's Thursday Challenge this week!!

Melissa has a very special New Release to share with you this week!  This release is also very special to me.  It's called "In Loving Memory" and was created with Memorial Day in mind.  There are images here to remember our families, our friends and our soldiers.  We have flowers, dog tags, doves, ribbons and even a few adorable angel animals.

I have created a card using an image that really jumped out at me in the release.  When Melissa asked the team for ideas, I suggested a Stars & Stripes ribbon, and when I saw what she created, I was just in awe!  I couldn't have imagined anything better and I am so thrilled to have this image in my collection!

Our challenge for you this week is "Silver and Gold" - that's open to your interpretation, so go have some fun!

Oh!  And, if you are interested in any of the new release images or any other images in the shop, they will be on sale all weekend in honor of Memorial Day!  10% off each and every stamp in the shop!  So, pull out that wish list, and start shopping!

Here's my card - using shimmery silver paper:

Create from The Heart

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 1 stamps of approval
I am a little slow on the uptake and didn't even realize that my good friend, Heather had started her own Freshly Brewed Challenge blog!  Sheesh... I must have missed that memo!
So, on challenge #3, I am finally joining in!  This one's for you, Heather!

Heather has some adorable images, and I have not nearly enough in my collection!  Maybe I'll win her challenge and get a few more!  :)

This weeks challenge is to make something with our favorite beverage - COFFEE!! (you can make something using your fave beverage, if you're not as into coffee as Heather, Callie and I!)
So, I made a pretty simple card, using Heather's "Cuppa Love" image.  The colors were looking a little funky to me as I was making the card... but I think in the end they all blend together pretty well... at least I hope they do!

Hi All!

Another wonderful Sunday at Stamptacular!   I hope that you all had a great week and are ready for another fun challenge!

Our Sponsor is:

$25 Gift Certificate to our random winner

Don't forget - even if you don't win our random drawing, you could still be chosen as one of our Top 3!  And, if you enter 3 challenges during the month, you could be chosen by the Design Team as a Guest Designer for a month!
Good Luck!!

This week we have for you Pearls & Swirls!
I kinda struggled with this one, because the only idea i had in my head was a wedding card I had done last year using the D'Vine Swirls folder and lots of pearls!  So, I had to take my mind out of wedding mode and think of something different.

So, here's what I came up with, I hope you like it!

Another Free Time Card

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Friday, May 21, 2010 4 stamps of approval

So I created this, using the sketch at Cute Card Thursday

A card from my free time

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Friday, May 21, 2010 10 stamps of approval
I've been working hard all week on cleaning up my craft room... again... I feel like I'm always cleaning my craft room!  I just get in the groove of crafting and make a mess, then when I'm done, I lock the door and walk away... next time I go to craft, I can't even find space on my table, much less ink, markers and adhesives!!  Anyway... I did more cleaning today, since I couldn't find my embossing mat and B plate for my cuttlebug and that was driving me crazy, then I decided to make a card!  Right now I have 2 nice clean table tops in my craft room!  Now to work on the 3rd one... that's the one where everything else that came off the other 2 landed!  LOL!

Anywhoooo... this is the card that I made!

It's for the color challenge at
(red, black & khaki)
the theme at
Pollycraft
(Summer Blooms)
and the sketch at
Taylored Expressions
to use that old hole punch that has been collecting dust...

Seeing Spots

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Thursday, May 20, 2010 12 stamps of approval
Here's the second card I made for this week's challenge and New Releases at Meljen's Designs.

I followed the sketch at The Pixie Cottage, as I kept coming across it while visiting challenge entries for our last challenge!
The first time I saw it, I thought... wow, um, no... but the more (and more and more and more) I saw it being used, I thought, I can do that!  I'll just have to try!
I also found this cute charm in my room, so this fits into the Blooming Charming challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges!
So, this is what I came up with.  Enjoy!

Meljen's Designs Challenge - Seeing Spots

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 5 stamps of approval
I love Thursdays!
It's challenge day at Meljens and New Release day, too!
Yay!

The new release this week is all about Doggies!  So fun!  I love doggies, and these images by Melissa are just adorable!

Here's my first card using "Bulldogs Bear".  I have another card to share with you, but I'll post it in a few days.  The challenge this week is "Seeing Spots", so I was seeing spots when I picked out my patterned papers :)   I was trying to think of the perfect sentiment to go with this one, and everything I thought of or found through a google search just wasn't quite right.... So, I called my Dad!  I said, "I have this image, of a bulldog with a teddy bear... and I need a cute quote to put on it..."  He said, "Send me a photo?"  So I did, and he called me back within minutes with this sentiment... Thanks, Dad!  I knew you'd be able to help!!!

I hope you like my card!

Circles!

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Sunday, May 16, 2010 2 stamps of approval
I got to spend the weekend at my parents house across the state and had such a good time!
Mom and I worked on a card idea that she had for her monthly stamping get-together and I think it turned out so cute!
She was checking out my blog the other day, and hopped over to Mercy's blog to find this cool tutorial about using a plastic canvas circle as a template for paper piercing circles.. such a GREAT idea!  Thanks, Mercy!  So, we used Mercy's tutorial and we "cased" her card to create a fun birthday card!  Mom will be sharing this card idea and new technique with her stamping girlfriends at their next meeting.
Mom was also excited to unpack her new Cuttlebug and use her new Nesties for the first time!
I'm going to toss this card into the hat at Stamp Something for their Celebrate Something challenge this week.
All Supplies are from Mom's Stash!

Rubber Stamping Show

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Sunday, May 16, 2010 0 stamps of approval
Hi All!
I had a wonderful weekend away!
Hubby agreed to watch the kiddos for me, so that I could drive across the state to spend some time with my Mom & Dad and go to the Heirloom Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Show at the Puyallup Fair Grounds.  It was so fun!  It was small, compared to some shows that I've been to, but it was nice that way!  The booths were well-manned and well stocked and everyone had such a wonderful selection of products to browse and buy!  We were able to do more make and takes at this show, as the lines were shorter than others, and that always makes the show so much more fun!
Of course, I bought some new things!  Not a lot, but enough to have me coming home with a smile!  I got 3 new Copics to add to my growing collection!  I got 8 new stamps - 5 unmounted and 3 wood mounted.  I got a sheet of EZ mount for my new stamps.  And some EZ Mount binder pages to organize my unmounted stamps.  I also picked up a new ribbon storage system that I've never seen before!  It's by Best Craft Organizers and I just love it!  I can't wait to sit down and roll all (well, most probably..) of my ribbon!  I'm sure I didn't buy enough storage boxes!  The more I think about the huge pile of ribbon on my craft room floor, the more I think I should have gotten a few more!  But, I got their website address, so I can always order more!  Of course, I also bought more ribbon at the show, too!!  LOL!
Anywhoooo.... Here are some of the make and takes that Mom and I had fun making!
This was at a super cool booth that we found near the end of our visit - we almost missed the make and take! The company is Endless Creations :)  I loved this card so much that I bought the Frog, Flies and Sentiment stamps - those are the 3 wood mounted stamps that I bought, in addition to a bunch of their papers, some pearls and a new glitter pen!  I liked this booth!  The lady working there was so funny!  She was super excited and it was hard to keep up with her!  She really made me smile!
This card was our first make and take, at the Close To My Heart booth.  It is such a cute card, and went together so simply!  I really like these stamps... couldn't buy them at the show, but I might have to order them soon!
There's another show coming up in July... wonder if I can get away again to go to that one, too??
Hehehe... Hubby might not go for that...

Digital Two For Tuesday

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 2 stamps of approval
I am honored to be featured as a Guest Designer on Digital Two For Tuesday this week!

The beautiful vintage images that Cora sent me are definitely a step or two (or twelve) out of my comfort zone, but that is what makes the challenge so fun!  I took the images and tried to make them "my own" in a way, adding the brighter colors that I love and keeping the layouts simple.  When I first saw them, I immediately thought of vintage valentines, and even though I tried, I couldn't stay away from my pinks and hearts, so one of them did turn out looking quite "valentine-y"!

I would like to thank Cora for this opportunity, and I hope that I have done her images justice and that I have made her proud!

What'd I Use?
