Meljen's New Challenge!

It's time for another new challenge at Meljen's Designs!  And, I'm sure you know, every new challenge comes with a new release, too!!!  Yay!!  We've got some super cute images to share with you today and the Design Team has some amazing creations using them!

Our challenge this week is to create something Cold and Snowy!!  Should be SO easy with Meljen's winter images!  If you don't have any, you can find them in the shop at Whimsy Stamps!

Here's my card, using the new Yeti Cocoa image

It's so hard to tell in the photo, but I added some clear microbeads to the snow and it looks really cute in person!

Meljen's Inspiration!

Hey! 

Did you see that Meljen's Designs now has a FEW select PRE-COLORED images??  All ready to go, just print them up, cut them out and paste them to some pretty paper!  How great is that??  And, for those of you (like me) who haven't quite finished their Christmas cards yet... the first release is all Christmas themed, so it's SO easy to get those cards done and in the mail!

Check it out - I've made a super cute card using the Caroling Snowmen pre-colored image and I think it took me about 5 minutes to put this card together!

I really love this card!  I think I'm going to make up a few more to finish off the Christmas card list!

I've made a Christmas card using the Oh-So-Fun Christmas Moose image!  Now, I had to giggle while I was making this card, because I finished it up right after my hubby and I had finished hanging all the lights on the house!  And, so I was looking at this little moose, all tangled up in lights, thinking of my hubby.. all tangled up in lights!  Hehhehe!

Meljen's New Release!

Hey there!

There's an AWESOME new release set available from Meljen's Designs today!!

It's really, really, amazing!

Each little reindeer has his or her own super cute personality!  Such a fun set and I am SO excited to get to feeling better so I can play with these!!

Thanksgiving Turkeys

Hi All!!

I saw this super cute idea somewhere in the blogosphere and thought I would make up some placecards for Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house.

 I used my Build A Turkey stamp set by Unity and each little turkey is sitting on a Hershey Nugget!

Here's a view of the table with all my little turkeys (one for each member of the family) - and a pumpkin that Mom made last year.

And, here's the biggest Turkey of all - my Brother!  And, of course, my Mom ♥ 

I'm sure my bro will be just thrilled to find his photo on my blog... hehehe!

Karen's Doodles Challenge #36

It's time for another fun challenge at Karen's Doodles!

This week, we challenge you to make a Christmas card using only Black and White!  Of course, you may use other colors on your image, but not anywhere else!!

This challenge is harder than it sounds!!  I really wanted to do a bright red ribbon and some red rhinestones... and I wanted to highlight the embossing by coloring some of those ornaments... but, I like this card, it really makes Bigsby stand out and the card really is all about him, isn't it?
