I hope that this Sunday finds you well!
This weeks challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is all about the boy! This can be a card or project for any boy for any reason - birthday, thinking of you, congratulations, get well. The Design Team have come up with amazing projects as always and I do hope you get a chance to visit their blogs and leave them some love!
My card is kind of an open card, so that I can add a sentiment to the inside when I need to use it. I had this cross stitched image that I did a while ago, and thought that it would look nice on a card. I just cut the oval in the card front with my Coluzzle cutter, taped the stitched doggie in and covered the back with a matching sheet of Creamy Caramel cardstock. I kept the card pretty simple, as it's for a boy and they aren't much into the "bling and flowers" so I just added a cute sentiment and a nice ribbon. I like simple cards, they make me smile! I hope that you like it as well!
Products used on this card - Stampin' Up! cardstock, stamps and ink. Ribbon from my stash. Cross Stitched image from the clearance bin at Michaels.

Oh Dee! I love this!! I am going to try to play in the challenge today!
So cute, yep boys and men like the simple cards better I think. So you didn't cross stitch this yourself it was allready done? WOW that is a bargain.
Great job, Dee! Men don't care about foofy cards. My DH says most of them end up (gasp) in the trash anyways...LOL! But I love yours!
Wow Dee. What a great idea to use your cross stitch in a card! I think this is such a cute idea.
Hiya Hunny, I adore this, the stitching is fabulous and the doggie is super cute. loved it the minute I saw it. Joey.xxx
Heather, (Toothy) I did do the cross stitching myself, it was a kit that I found in the clearance bin. Before I discovered paper, my Mom taught me how to cross stitch, I used to do a lot of it.. now paper has taken over my world!!
Fab little card Dee, I love the sewing, it must have taken you a while!
