Stamptacular Photo Inspiration

This week Stamptacular Sunday Challenge has a photo inspiration for you!

We are sponsored by Birdie Brown digi images and I have used "Rainy Day"

Here is our photo to inspire you

I thought the colors were very pretty and I sponged some pink ink around my yellow papers to mimic the edging on the flower.  There's a touch of blue in the corner of the photo, so I used that as my base color.

I hope to see you play along with us!  Have fun!

We're texting today at Stamptacular Sunday!  Any project that features some sort of text.. a phrase, a book page, a text stamp.. anything!

I've chosen a phrase that I've always loved about dogs.  I've always been a dog person!  I think this sentiment is so true, because every time I see a dog wag their tail, it's brings a smile to my heart, too!

You Mean the World To Me...

Our challenge at Stamptacular Sunday this week is a SKETCH!

We're sponsored by Meljen's Designs and I've used one of the many $1 digis available in the shop for my card, Earth Day

Stamtacular Sunday #143

I'm dreaming of a PINK Christmas!  There are a lot of non-traditional card colors emerging this holiday season and the Stamptacular team wants you to really use your imagination and only use the color PINK!

I've made a small set of 3x3 gift cards to go on plates of cookies that we will deliver to the neighbors this weekend.  As Hubby was writing out the greetings on the inside of my cards, he said "These are nice, but they're just a bit... pink?"  Well, at least he said they were nice!  :)

These are cute little shaker boxes with mica flakes and a touch of pink glitter.  I really think they're just adorable!  I added a scrap of pink dotted ribbon, with a pearl and the snowflake embossing finishes it all off.

We're sponsored by Kenny K this week!  You can win up to 3 free digis, but only if you play along!

I hope you like my gift cards and I hope you have fun creating something PINK to share with us this week!

Stamptacular Sunday #142

Our challenge for you this week at Stamptacular Sunday is Christmas Glitz!

For this weeks challenge you will create a CHRISTMAS card or a project that is full of glitz! We want to see glitter, bling and sparkles…AND LOTS OF IT TOO! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

I've made a small set of gift tags that will be going to our neighbors with some baked yummies.  To get GLITZY, I used glittery paper and a bunch of rhinestones, and of course, I sparkled them each up with my glitter pens!  It's so hard to capture the glittery in a photo :(  But, they look so pretty in person!

Our sponsors this week are Doodle Pantry and Bugaboo!

Enjoy!

Dee

Stamptacular Sunday #140 - Anything Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Our tree isn't up just yet... much to my dismay, but I think we might try to get it done today!  :)

Our challenge at Stamptacular Sunday this week is Anything Christmas!

Create ANYTHING you’d like with a Christmas theme on it! Let’s see what kind of NEW, DIFFERENT and EXCITING projects you come up with! Oh, and please don’t forget to stamp…afterall, we aren’t called STAMPtacular for nothing!

So, I've been working on my Christmas cards that I'm going to be sending out this year... I am planning on making more than one type of card instead of all the same this time, so this is the first set that I've finished.  I made 20 of these, so now, with December knocking on the door, I only have 60 more cards to design and put together!  LOL!!

This is a really fun card to make, and my fave tool the i-Rock got a workout putting all those red and black glam rocks on!

How are your Christmas cards coming along?  Do you have as many to make as I do?  I have to make about 80 cards a year.. or do you have to make more?  I'd love to hear from you!  I'm also excited to see your entries in this weeks challenge!  Come join us for a chance to win a prize from

MELJEN’S DESIGNS

PRIZE: Winner’s Choice of 4 Digis

and

WHIMSY STAMPS

PRIZE: $15 Gift Certificate

Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

Stamptacular Sunday #137

Good Morning, my friends!!

It's time to get SKETCHY with Stamptacular Sunday and we have 2 fabulous sponsors for you this week!

Simon Says Stamp

Prize - $20 Gift Certificate

AND

Saturated Canary

Prize - Winners choice of 2 Digis

I've used a super cute image provided by Saturated Canary - this is Stella & Jello, A Raggamuffin and Pet!

I just love these images!  This one in particular makes me think of an old picture of me that just resurfaced from high school - I went to high school in the early 90's and I had a pair of HUGE glasses just like these!  Although, they are SO much cuter on Stella!  :)

Come on over and join in on our sketch challenge this week!  We'd love to see ya!

Stamptacular Sunday #136

Hi there!!  We've got a new challenge at Stamptacular Sunday today!

This week's challenge is…

“Borders & Frames!”

For this weeks challenge you will create any card that includes at least one border and/or frame on it! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

You will have from now until midnight (EST) November 5^h, 2011 to complete this challenge and post a DIRECT LINK to your submission into our InLinkz in order to be entered into the drawing for this week's fabulous prize donated by:

BUNNY ZOE’S CRAFT

PRIZE: $10 Gift Certificate

I've used a Pre-Colored image from Meljen's Designs and framed it with a raised embossed mat.  I added a few i-rock gems to the wreath for some shine.

I stamped the sentiment and attached it with a bit of a "bow" to give it some dimension.  I also traced around a few of the embossed circles with a glitter pen to give it a bit of sparkle.

Challenges:

One Stitch at a Time - Christmas

Scrap Creations - Digi

Card Makin' Mamas - Die Cuts

Totally Gorjuss - I Remember (This card makes me think of a wreath making class that my Mom and I took years and years ago!)

Stamptacular #134

It's time for a new challenge at Stamptacular Sunday!

This week's challenge is…

“Black, Orange, Purple and SCARY TOO!”

For this weeks challenge you will create a card that has ONLY the colors black, orange, and purple AND has something that pops up/out when you open it! Of course you can use white cardstock to make sure your image stands out but please keep it to a minimum. This can be ANY THEME you want as long as you use the required colors...and the scary part is when you open it and it pops up at you! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

Our fabulous sponsors this week are:

MELJEN’S DESIGNS

PRIZE: Winner’s Choice of 4 Digis!

AND

THE CHARM BARN

PRIZE: $10 Gift Certificate

I've used a Meljen's Designs image this week, and as hard as I tried, I just couldn't make this little gal scary!  She's too darn cute!

As you can see, I'm still working through all that leftover black burlap!  LOL!!  I'm thinking of making a tablecloth for my dining room table.... sigh, that's a lot of burlap!

Come play along with us this week, those are some awesome prizes!  Wish I could play, too!!  :)

Challenges,

One Stitch at a Time - Embossing

The Crafty Pad - Halloween

Ribbon Carousel - Halloween Photo Inspiration

Stamptacular - You Choose!

Aaaah.. Anything Goes at Stamptacular Sunday this week!  How COOL is that??

And, our sponsors are Bugaboo and The Charm Barn, even cooler, right??

Big thanks to Bugaboo for providing Halloween Skelekinz Topper, I really had a blast coloring this image!

I'm really happy with how cute this turned out, even though it is so simple!  I really loved stitching the edges of the top note die and I think the funky bow really matches the style of the image.

Hope to see you play along this week!

Stamptacular Sunday #133

Hey Stampin' Friends!!

Our new challenge at Stamptacular Sunday is SOOOOO Distressing!

I'm quite distressed... as I don't do much distressing on my cards, but this was fun!

I opted for a tall card, as my witchy (you've seen a lot of her, haven't you?) is rather tall and she took up too much space on a standard size card, but I love her anyway!

I scraped up the edges of the image, sponged some ink all over the place and added some shredded burlap scrap... I also love the zig zag ribbon that I added at the last minute!

We're sponsored this week by

Simon Says Stamp

AND

Elisabeth Bell Digis

Awesome Prizes from Awesome Sponsors!

Hope you'll come get distressed with us!

Have Fun!
