I've been a day behind all week!  I was typing up the challenge post for Meljen's Designs and realized that I hadn't made a card myself yet!  LOL!  So, I run downstairs and put together this fun birthday card.  I never seem to have enough birthday cards and no matter how hard I try to get ahead of the game, I still seem to never have one when I need one!  So, here's another one to add to my stash, and I don't think it will be hanging around too long!

Charming Canary Love

At Stamptacular Sunday, our new challenge for you is so CHARMing!

Create a card or project that has a charm somewhere in sight! Oh…and don’t forget to stamp! After all, we don’t call this STAMPtacular for nothing!

I was so excited to color this new Saturated Canary image as soon as I received it and I thought this beautiful birdcage paper was just perfect for it!  I've had the little birdhouse charm for so long and I thought it would match wonderfully as well!  I'm really happy with this card!

Little Goth Girl & Party Invitations

I needed to make a very quick birthday card for a friend's daughter yesterday.  Not that I didn't have advance notice of her birthday party, but because I was SO busy making the 40 invitations for the birthday party, I kind of forgot about her actual card!

She had a Monster High themed party, so I chose to use the Little Goth Girl and Skully image from Meljen's Designs.  Because my daughter was giving this card, she chose the ribbon and the ribbon slide.

The little girl who received this card is a big fan of my work :) and she just loved this card!  She also loved the invitations that I made for her party

Here are the cards in progress... I had to hand colo the pink strips, because I couldn't find the right paper!  Lots of cutting and coloring, but they were a big hit!

Card Makin' Mamas Birthday Challenge

We're celebrating Birthdays at Card Makin' Mamas this week!

I've used Lizzie's Make A Wish Candles and sentiment.  I printed the sentiment on top of some Echo Park digital paper, one of the things I LOVE about Lizzie's designs is the bold lines, making it so nice to print on patterned paper - the sentiment doesn't get lost among all the dots!

Silly Valentine

Our Stamptacular Sunday challenge this week is

There are some days when I think that I'm just in too weird of a mood to be in my craft room... this was one of those day!  LOL!

Also, on rare occasions, I sell a card the same day I make it!  This one is already sold and I know that my friends Hubby will get a kick out of it on Valentine's Day!  :)
