I'm late, I'm late!!

I can't believe I forgot to post this on challenge day!!

There's a challenge happening right now at Meljen's Designs and it's called Take 5 - use 5 elements that are the same.

I really wanted to use 5 bats, but they were a bit big and overpowered the image (we can't have that!!), so I used 5 black rhinestones instead.

Image is available in the shop: Halloween Cupcake

Good Luck on our challenge this week, I look forward to seeing your creations!

Getting a little crafty

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Sunday, September 15, 2013 0 stamps of approval
Halloween always gets me creative!  I have more Halloween cards than I know what to do with and I keep making more!  It's really my favorite holiday to craft for!

This is one of the first Halloween cards I've made this year.  I was just playing around while my daughter made a card (see it here) and I love how this turned out!

Dilly Beans digi stamp and a freebie digi from my good buddy Lizzie!

I'm looking forward to posting more Halloween cards soon!

Hugs,
Dee

Summer's Over....

Designed by Sprytebyrd on Sunday, September 08, 2013 0 stamps of approval
Summer's over and I finally have a little bit of free time to work in my craft room!  I've got so much catching up to do, some days I don't even know where to start!

I've been working on a lot of ATC's lately for my facebook swap group, that's been a lot of fun!  But anything beyond that has been put on the back burner while the kids were home from school!

Now that they're back in school, and we've got our routine sorted out, I'm back in my room and working on finding the mojo again!

Let's start with a birthday card for my Big Brother!

I used a new technique for making a "file folder" card using my envelope punch board and I love how it turned out!

Hubby says it's a bit flowery and lacey for a guy card, but I'm hoping that it's "Manly" enough for my bro!

I dusted off some Stampin' Up! stamps that I bought quite a long time ago, they've never been inked until today and I really love the detail in this set.

Anyway - hope you like my card and I look forward to posting more fun stuff more often now that school is back in swing!

Hugs,
Dee
